The security challenge
The farm had suffered theft after intruders accessed the property via the private driveway and stole valuable equipment. With livestock and facilities spread across four separate buildings, the client also needed a practical way to monitor animals remotely, particularly during busy calving and lambing periods.
The CastraGuard solution
A comprehensive 16-camera CCTV system installed across four separate farm buildings, using wireless transmission to send all camera feeds back to the main farmhouse. An ANPR camera was also incorporated to monitor vehicles entering the property and provide an additional layer of security.
The result
Improved protection of the farm, buildings and valuable equipment, with greater awareness of vehicles entering the property. The same system also allows the client to remotely monitor livestock across different barns and fields, providing valuable support during calving and lambing while reducing the need to physically check each location.
